Xenon Arc Weathering Tester
Model: TD1163-2
I. Structural Design
The equipment mainly consists of the main body, heating and humidification system, refrigeration and dehumidification system, display and control system, air circulation system, safety protection system, and other accessories.
The equipment features a specially designed specimen rack tray for convenient operation. The tray is inclined at 10° to the horizontal plane and can accommodate flat specimens or three-dimensional samples of different shapes and sizes, such as parts, components, bottles, and test tubes. The tray can also be used for testing materials that may flow under high-temperature conditions, materials exposed in Petri dishes, and waterproofing materials used on roofs.
The outer casing is manufactured from high-quality A3 steel plate using CNC machining and is finished with a powder-coated surface. The inner chamber is made of imported SUS304 high-quality stainless steel. The air circulation system adopts a long-shaft fan motor and a high- and low-temperature-resistant stainless-steel multi-blade impeller to achieve strong forced convection and vertical circulating airflow.
A double-layer high-temperature-resistant, high-tensile sealing strip is installed between the door and chamber to ensure effective sealing of the test area. The equipment features a non-reaction door handle for easy operation. High-quality lockable PU casters are installed at the bottom, allowing the equipment to be easily moved to the desired location and securely fixed in place after installation.
The equipment is also equipped with a visual observation window made of multi-layer hollow tempered glass, providing a clear view of the test process during operation.
II. Applicable Standards
This product is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with the technical requirements of GB/T 16422.2-1999. It also complies with the requirements of GB/T 2423.24-1995, ASTM G155, ISO 105-B02/B04, SAE J2527, SAE J2421, and other relevant standards.

VII. Electrical Control System
The Xenon Arc Weathering Test Chamber offers multiple cycle programs, black panel temperature settings, and chamber air temperature and humidity conditions, allowing users to program and simulate different environmental conditions.
During exposure testing, the temperature is automatically calculated and controlled by a microcomputer-based intelligent temperature controller featuring PID self-tuning and a membrane keypad, making operation simple, convenient, and efficient.
The test time can be separately set for total test time, light exposure time, spray time, and spray interval. Once the settings are completed, the equipment automatically runs according to the programmed parameters.
The irradiance display continuously indicates the current light irradiance intensity during testing. If an abnormal condition occurs during the test or the test is completed, the equipment immediately activates an alarm and automatically terminates the test.
