The tester determines the water permeability of geotextiles by measuring the volume of water passing vertically through the specimen under a specified constant hydraulic head. During the test, water is continuously supplied to maintain a stable hydraulic head difference across the specimen. I. Product Introduction
The Geotextile Vertical Water Permeability Tester is designed to determine the vertical water permeability of various water-permeable geotextiles and composite geotextiles under a constant hydraulic head. The tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with JTG E50-2006, Test Methods of Geosynthetics for Highway Engineering, with reference to ISO 11058 and ASTM D4491/D4491M. It adopts a horizontal constant-head test configuration for accurate and reliable permeability testing.
