I. Product Introduction

This water bath is suitable for conditioning asphalt penetration test specimens and can be connected to a penetration testing apparatus. It is designed for temperature control applications below ambient temperature and features fast cooling speed, low noise, and high constant-temperature accuracy.With wide application versatility, the unit is an essential supporting device for asphalt penetration testing.

IV. Precautions

1. The equipment must be properly grounded during operation.

2. The rear side of the water bath should be positioned at least 50 cm away from the wall.

3. The water tank should be filled with drinking water containing low mineral content to prevent scale formation inside the tank and circulation pipelines.

4. The operating voltage should be strictly controlled within 220V ± 20V.

5. After use, drain the water from the water bath and wipe all parts clean for future use.

6. The compressor is prone to failure if it is not used for a long time. Therefore, this equipment should be test-run once a month to prevent compressor damage.

7. Before the test, check whether the left and right limit switches are functioning properly. The inspection method is as follows: start the motor rotating to the left and test the right limit switch. While the motor is running, press the right limit switch manually. If the motor stops, the right limit switch is functioning properly. Then start the motor rotating to the right and press the left limit switch manually. If the motor stops, the left limit switch is functioning properly.

8. When manually switching the cooling on/off switch, wait approximately 3 minutes after each operation. Do not operate frequently.

9. Before the test, check if the temperature sensor head is submerged in water.
