The equipment is mainly used to determine the oil absorption performance of various fiber materials used in asphalt pavements.

IV. Operating Procedure

1. Weigh the required quantity of fiber sample and mineral oil according to the testing requirements.

2. Pour the mixed sample into the specimen sieve of the instrument.

3. Set the vibration time and connect the equipment to a 220V/50Hz power supply.

4. Turn on the power switch, and the equipment will start the vibration test.

5. When the preset time is reached, the instrument will automatically stop and provide an alarm indication.

6. Remove the specimen sieve and weigh the fiber sample after absorbing the mineral oil.

7. Calculate the fiber oil absorption rate according to the relevant calculation formula.
