III. Daily Maintenance

The machine should operate for no more than 10 hours per day continuously. Ensure that the cooling water remains clean and the water pump operates normally. Never allow the water-cooled spindle motor to run without sufficient water. Replace the cooling water regularly to prevent overheating.In winter, if the working environment temperature is too low, the water in the tank should be replaced with antifreeze coolant.

After each use of the machine, it is necessary to clean it thoroughly. Make sure that dust on the table surface and transmission system is completely removed. The transmission system (X, Y, and Z axes) should be lubricated regularly (once a week).

For maintenance: the X, Y, and Z axis smooth rods should be lubricated with machine oil, while the ball screw components should be lubricated with high-speed grease. In winter, if the working environment temperature is too low, the ball screws, smooth rods (square or round linear guides) should first be cleaned with gasoline, and then lubricated with machine oil. Otherwise, increased transmission resistance may occur, leading to machine positioning errors.

Before performing any electrical maintenance or inspection, the power supply must be completely disconnected. Only proceed when the monitor shows no display and the main circuit power indicator is off.

After approximately three months of operation, all fasteners should be checked and tightened, including the gantry side connection bolts, ball screw nut fastening screws, and motor mounting screws on both sides.
