I. Product Introduction
This compression testing machine is mainly used to determine the compressive strength of building materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete. It is widely used in construction engineering, building materials production, as well as highway and bridge engineering, and serves as essential equipment for material mechanical property testing.
The equipment complies with GB/T 50081-2002 “Standard for Test Methods of Mechanical Properties of Ordinary Concrete”, and conforms to GB/T 3159-2008 “Hydraulic Universal Testing Machines”. It also references international standards including ASTM C39/C39M, ISO 7500-1, ASTM E4, and EN 12390-3.
II. Machine Structure
The machine frame is composed of four columns connecting the cylinder body and the upper crossbeam into an integrated structure. A regulating lead screw is installed on the upper beam. The empty height of the testing machine can be adjusted through a large handwheel and a nut-screw mechanism. A ball seat and upper platen are installed at the lower end of the screw rod.
The lower platen is mounted on the piston of the hydraulic cylinder. When the specimen comes into contact with the upper platen, the ball seat of the upper platen can automatically self-align to ensure balance, allowing the specimen to maintain level contact with both upper and lower platens during testing.
Positioning lines are engraved on the lower platen to assist in specimen alignment, and the specimen must be placed in accordance with these lines during testing.
A dust-proof cover is installed beneath the lower platen to effectively prevent dust from entering the hydraulic cylinder during piston movement, thereby protecting the cylinder body and seals from damage. A sealing device is installed between the piston and the cylinder to prevent hydraulic oil leakage. Even in cases of minor oil seepage, an annular oil groove and drainage channel at the top of the cylinder return the oil back to the main oil tank.
