I. Product Introduction

The Bulk Cement Sampler is designed for sampling bulk cement during quality control, inspection, and laboratory testing. It is suitable for collecting representative cement samples from different locations to ensure the sample is clean, dry, and representative of the material being tested.

III.  Operating Procedure

1. Hold the cement sampler firmly with both hands and insert the sampling tube into the cement to the required depth.

2. Rotate the sampler handle and sampling tube to close the sampling openings. Lock the handle securely to prevent the openings from changing position during withdrawal.

3. Carefully withdraw the sampler from the cement.

4. Hold the sampler vertically over a clean, dry cement sample container or standard sample storage container.

5. Release the locking handle and rotate the outer sampling tube to open the sampling ports, allowing the collected cement sample to flow into the container.

Sampling Notes:

• Select sampling locations from at least 20 different positions to obtain a representative composite sample.

• Insert the sampling tube to an appropriate depth at each selected location.

• Cover the air vent with your thumb before carefully withdrawing the sampling tube.

• Transfer the collected cement sample into a clean, dry, contamination-resistant container.

• For each designated sampling unit (1/10), collect at least 6 kg of cement from one bag, where applicable to the applicable sampling procedure.

• Avoid exposure of the sample to moisture, dust, or other contaminants during sampling, transfer, and storage.
