III. Test Operation Guide
3.1 Equipment Start-Up and Preparation
1. Power connection: Connect the equipment power plug to a properly rated power outlet and ensure that the grounding is reliable.
2. Check water level in the tank: Add an appropriate amount of potable water (tap water) into the temperature-controlled water tank. The water level should be sufficient to fully immerse the specimens, with a depth of 10–20 mm above the specimen surface.
3. Preheating: Set the required temperatures for the temperature-controlled water tank, freezing chamber, and drying chamber according to the test requirements, then start the system and preheat the equipment until the set temperatures are reached.
IV. Test Program Settings for Various Panel Types
4.1 Thin Panels (Thickness t < 7 mm), Type I Test
1. Immersion:
Fill the temperature-controlled water tank with an appropriate amount of potable water and heat it to a gentle boil (approximately 100°C). Immerse the specimens in boiling water for 3 hours.
2. Freezing:
Remove the specimens, wipe off surface moisture, and place them into a low-temperature test chamber at (-20 ± 2)°C for 24 hours.
3. Drying:
Take the specimens out of the low-temperature chamber and place them in a drying chamber at (103 ± 2)°C for 3 hours.
4. Cooling:
After drying, remove the specimens and allow them to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4.2 Thin Panels (Thickness t < 7 mm), Type II Test
1. Immersion:
Fill the temperature-controlled water tank with an appropriate amount of potable water and heat it to (63 ± 2)°C. Immerse the specimens in water at (63 ± 2)°C for 3 hours.
2. Freezing:
Remove the specimens, wipe off surface moisture, and place them into a low-temperature test chamber at (-20 ± 2)°C for 24 hours.
3. Drying:
Take the specimens out of the low-temperature chamber and place them in a drying chamber at (63 ± 2)°C for 3 hours.
4. Cooling:
After drying, remove the specimens and allow them to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4.3 Thick Panels (Thickness t ≥ 7 mm), Type I Test
1. Immersion:
Fill the temperature-controlled water tank with an appropriate amount of potable water and heat it to a gentle boil (approximately 100°C). Immerse the specimens in boiling water for 6 hours.
2. Freezing:
Remove the specimens, wipe off surface moisture, and place them into a low-temperature test chamber at (-20 ± 2)°C for 24 hours.
