III. Structural Overview
The Model 101 drying oven features an outer casing made of high-quality cold-rolled steel sheet with a surface plastic-sprayed (powder-coated) finish. The working chamber is also constructed from premium cold-rolled steel. An adjustable air vent is installed on the top of the chamber for ventilation control.
The insulation layer is filled with high-quality thermal insulation cotton to ensure excellent heat retention. The door is equipped with a double-layer tempered glass observation window, allowing clear visibility of the heating process inside the chamber. A high-temperature resistant silicone rubber sealing gasket is used between the chamber and the door to ensure airtight performance.
The power supply, blower system, heating system (single or dual heating circuits), and temperature control instrument are centrally installed on the front control panel for convenient operation and adjustment.
The heating system of the Model 101 forced air drying oven consists of electric heating elements, a blower, a forced circulation air duct system, and a temperature control unit, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and stable performance throughout the chamber.
IV. Precautions
1. The outer shell of the instrument must be properly grounded for safety.
2. The instrument should be placed indoors with good ventilation. The relative humidity of the room should not exceed 85%. Do not place any flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials around the equipment.
3. This instrument is not explosion-proof; therefore, flammable or explosive substances must not be placed inside the working chamber.
4. Do not overcrowd items inside the chamber. The loading should not exceed 70% of the shelf area to ensure proper heat circulation and uniform heating.
5. The interior and exterior of the equipment should be kept clean. If not used for a long time, cover it with a dust-proof cover. Apply anti-rust oil to electroplated parts and store it in a dry environment.
6. During operation, the ventilation valve should be properly opened to release humid air. If any abnormal temperature fluctuation occurs, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
7. The blower should operate intermittently.
8. Power must be turned off before placing or removing samples.
9. It is strictly forbidden to place objects directly on the heating element cover plate.
V. Troubleshooting
1. If the power indicator light does not turn on after switching on the power supply, check whether the power line, switch, or fuse is damaged or disconnected.
2. If the heating switch is turned on but the temperature does not rise (the green indicator light does not turn on), and the chamber does not heat up, it may be caused by an open circuit in the heater or its connecting wires. Inspect, repair, or replace the faulty components.
3. If the displayed temperature is much higher than the set value and does not decrease, or if the equipment continues heating after the power switch is turned off, it may indicate a damaged silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) or a faulty temperature controller. The damaged components should be replaced immediately.
