I. Product Introduction
The Asphalt Centrifuge Ring Filter Paper is an essential consumable used in asphalt laboratories for separating asphalt binder from asphalt mixtures. It is mainly applied during the centrifuge extraction test to effectively filter and separate asphalt from the mixture, ensuring that the asphalt binder passes through the filter paper accurately for precise determination of asphalt content.

II. Working Principle
The annular filter paper is installed inside the material basket of the centrifugal extractor. Under high-speed centrifugation, the solvent dissolves the asphalt binder and discharges it through the filter paper, while the mineral particles are effectively retained, thereby achieving the separation of asphalt and minerals for subsequent asphalt content calculation.

IV. Usage Method
1. Lay the ring-shaped filter paper at the bottom and around the sides of the material basket.
2. Place the weighed asphalt mixture or pavement sample into the filter paper.
3. Pour in benzene solution or the specified solvent to completely submerge the sample.
4. Install the material basket into the centrifugal extractor and start the equipment.
5. Perform heating and centrifugal extraction until the asphalt is completely dissolved and washed away.
V. Precautions:
1. The instrument should be installed horizontally with a reliable electrical grounding wire.
2. Before use, check the tension of the high-speed drive belt and adjust it appropriately.
3. Cooling water must be connected before operating the equipment to ensure a normal supply.
4. The centrifuge shaft rotates counterclockwise. If the phase sequence is incorrect, the three-phase power supply wiring needs to be adjusted.
5. When stopping the equipment midway, the power must be turned off, the centrifuge drum removed, and any residue cleaned. It is strictly forbidden to start the centrifuge system under load.
