Products Description
Handheld Concrete Strain Gauge for measuring long-term deformation and micro-strain in concrete and building structures. Lightweight and portable, it is ideal for laboratory, field, and on-site structural deformation testing.
Handheld Concrete Strain Gauge
Model: TDSH-VB1
I. Product Overview
Long-term deformation of building structures can be difficult to measure using conventional strain gauges due to changes in environmental conditions, such as vibration, moisture, and high temperatures.
The TDSH-VB1 Handheld Concrete Strain Gauge, also known as a Concrete Micro-Deformation Measuring Instrument, is designed to measure long-term deformation in various building structures. It can be used to monitor deformation during the fabrication of structural components as well as to observe structural deformation during testing.
The TDSH-VB1 features a simple and lightweight design, a wide measuring range, and convenient portability. It is designed to provide reliable measurements under changing environmental conditions. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for field and on-site structural deformation measurements, as well as experimental research and engineering testing in research institutions, design organizations, construction companies, and laboratories.
Reference Standards: ASTM C490/C490M, BS 1881-206

III. Precautions for Use
1. Avoid applying excessive pulling force, pressure, or impact during use to prevent damage to the displacement gauge or the connecting leaf spring.
2. To minimize error, do not change the operator or alter the testing direction during the test procedure.
3. During the test, avoid touching the instrument's metal frame with your hands; instead, hold the handle to reduce errors caused by the influence of body temperature.
4. Repeat the measurement N times to minimize error.
IV. Care and Maintenance
1. Protect the instrument's pointed probe to prevent breakage.
2. Keep the instrument in its case during use to maintain its sensitivity.
3. After the experiment, wipe the instrument clean with a soft cloth and engage the locking hook to prevent damage to the spring blade.
4. Do not disassemble the instrument arbitrarily; handle it with care when moving or storing it.
