I. Product Introduction

The TD739-1 Asphalt Mixture Four-Point Bending Fatigue Tester is a professional testing instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China standard JTG 3410-2025 Standard Test Methods of Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture for Highway Engineering (T0739-2025 Four-Point Bending Fatigue Test of Asphalt Mixtures), and also refers to international standards such as AASHTO T321 and EN 12697.

This equipment is used to determine the fatigue life and fatigue resistance of compacted asphalt mixtures under repeated flexural loading. It is widely applied in evaluating the structural durability and crack resistance performance of asphalt pavements.

The standard test conditions are: temperature 15°C ± 0.5°C, loading frequency 10 Hz ± 0.1 Hz, and a continuous offset sinusoidal loading mode under constant strain control. Other test conditions can also be selected according to testing requirements.

The test termination condition is defined as the number of loading cycles corresponding to the point where the flexural stiffness modulus decreases to 50% of its initial value.

This method is applicable to beam specimens prepared from laboratory wheel-tracking compacted asphalt mixture slabs, as well as beam specimens cut from field cores. The standard specimen dimensions are: length 380 mm ± 5 mm, thickness 50 mm ± 5 mm, and width 63.5 mm ± 5 mm.
