III. Main Applications:
Used to study the rheological properties of asphalt, such as conducting SHRP (Strategic Highway Research Program) grading measurements, multi-stress creep measurements, strain scanning measurements, and viscosity measurements. It can be used to measure base asphalt, polymer-modified asphalt, rubber powder-modified asphalt, and aged asphalt after pressure aging and rotary film oven treatment. By measuring the dynamic shear modulus G* and phase angle s of asphalt, it evaluates the viscous (non-recoverable) and elastic (recoverable) properties of aged and unaged asphalt in the temperature range of 5-85℃, predicting its resistance to rutting and fatigue cracking.
